Don't automatically take this as an insult. Fact is that there are quite a few really bad and/or rude drivers here at all times and in the height of the snowbird season there are even MORE ALL AT ONCE.

I realize that...and the resturants are busier and stores are busier...and everything's kinda crazy...but...what does this have to do with RENTERS??

The point is I don't think anybody was singling out "renters" just the increased population during the peak season and at the same time a good percentage of that peak populace are not familiar with the rules of the road. If you think anybody was casting aspersions at renters, you just read between the wrong lines.

Don't know about you folks, but being a annual "renter" for 8 years now, that's the way I read it.
Thanks for your support.

No, it's not NY.......and if New Yorkers or ANYONE wants to contact an adult who would do something about an idiotic driver in the wrong lane, wearing headphones and going head-on toward carts in the oncoming lane on an already too-narrow bridge, then I'm with the New Yorker.

If this idiot had killed somebody, then you'd be complaining that nobody reported him to get him off the road.

Default Was I rude?

The other day I was traveling East on Bonita Blvd, obviously in the golf car lane. I heard a car coming up behind me so I looked in the rear view mirror. The Car was overtaking me since she could go faster. She did not have any turn signals on. All of a sudden she took a Rt turn right in front of me. If I had not had very good brakes and reflexes I would have been badly injured. Was I in the wrong? I know cars always have the right of way but can they turn right in front of you with no signal? I am a bit afraid to drive the cart anymore. Please advise.

No You were not in the wrong....classic case of a stupid careless driver & we all know ya can't fix stupid. Unfortunately situations such as your will happen but it surely isn't the norm. Just always be alert, don't assume the auto driver will be looking out for you, use your blinkers as well as hand signals and enjoy the ride.
