Bingo. More likely he was drinking than smoking. Pot is very misunderstood by our generation.

Whats notable is the "trols".!! When comments here get nicer, certain folks have to add nasty comments, to keep things confrontational. It's a beautiful day....go outside, take a deep breath and try to say something nice. If nothing else, it will help you "tolerate" the "renters" that you seem to have a problem with.

Hi Bill: Its hard to describe, perhaps chemical???anyway in over the six years that I have lived here when meeting up with golfers recognized someone was a renter before they told me. Call it the interloper effect

2 ways Bill,

1. For the first week, they will have a big red "R" on their forehead, and

2. After that, you have to yank down their shorts and look for the big "RENTER"
printed across their.............well, you know.

Thank you. I have been here 2 1/2 years and am still trying to figure out the ways to drive safely around here. I think when people were doing what seemed to be renter bashing they may have just meant that those newer to TV do have a lot of figuring out to do. I think we made 73 u turns in the first week here. Be safe out there people. Take your dog off your lap, put down the cell phones, don't drink and drive (even from the squares) and keep a sharp eye out.

Default renters

If renters are such good golf cart drivers, why have the insurance companies stop covering them when you rent your house? Insurance companies do not like risk!

Default This little clip from "Oklahoma" reminds me of "us" sometimes.

OH the renters and the froggies should be friends...(and the shooters too)

Pot is not the harmless past time you imply. Its direct affect on the brain can be devasting and its initial use traced back because it arrests child development. As a Director on a Board that dealt with homeless kids i have seen the damage created by pot and it is as devasting as alcohol, other other so called risky drugs.

This experience has left me to gringe when Hollywood types in movies lated for the young roll one for recreation. What a sad and dangerous endorsement . Ok I am off my soap box.

I opine others can decide

We "rented" for a few years until we decided to buy. Bought a Villa and we were "seasonal residents" for a time. We noticed that people there were not very friendly towards us until they found out that we owned the home we were in and did not rent it.
We sold that home within a year after that. That was not what we were looking for.

All of us have to realize if it wasn't for the whatever you want to call the non owners, we would not have the restaurants, retailers, golf courses, pools, etc. I could go on and on. All of us know what we have here is so unique and irreplaceable.

Probably safe to say we have been in their situation at one time or another when we first came here. Go back in memory of the residents that were understanding and helpful to us and try to be that way in our travels here when it starts to "heat up".

Too early to be on the pulpit............
