I'm thinking it's named after Sharon L. Morse - what a concept.

WOW, what sarcastic responses! Good thing the OP isn't a newbee. What happened to the "Friendly Town"? Obviously she meant who is Sharon.

I wonder if the people who answer with sarcasm are aware that some people think it is rude. I think in some parts of the country people speak more sharply to each other and it doesn't phase them.
In my neck of the woods it can be quite hurtful. I bet they were just trying to be funny, not hurtful. As my best friend in Texas always said.

Nobody likes a smart***.

I understand you so completely because you speak not only my language but my culture.

I think that Graeters Ice Cream and Skyline Chili may be making genetic changes to all of our personalities in Cincinnati.

I think we would be eaten alive in other areas of the country.

But I am getting very sarcastic Sally. I hope you will continue to be my friend.

Default Of course I will.

I was just stating that all TVers were not coming from the same culture and some degree of thought should be behind everything we say. One thing I have learned as a chaplain is that there is a cruel way and a nice way to tell someone to go to the devil in a way they should enjoy the trip. However, my Irish BS does kick in at times. Actually I was not meaning to cast any blame here but make an observation.

It was a simple, serious question and the first reply provided an accurate response so thread will be closed.

We enjoy light hearted, humorous responses to appropriate topics as much as anyone, but, these went too far afield, too fast.
