I've been up in Swannanoa , NC doing what I can for these people. It remains complete devastation. I have never in my life, witnessed the power of human beings come together for one another..Church groups and Charitable organizations continue to bring supplies to the Drop off Locations. It has been an outpouring of love and compassion for these folks.. I've cried many of nights, since Sept. 27, 2024.
What I wouldn't give to have a cocktail while sitting on my lanai, grateful to have a home. God Bless you all and Merry Christmas to Everyone

Wish people could find new stuff to complain about.

Now complain about the complainers

I wish I could find decent Chinese food. The bottom of the barrel from un north in MA is much superior to anything around here. And don’t get me started about the lack of steak tips or a North Shore beef. But we love it here. Feel lucky to live such an enjoyable life

Merry Christmas

Gas vs. Electric and range anxiety? Merry X-mas and hopefully the newbies find the search button before asking it again like it’s never been asked before, LOL

I prefer cooking on a gas range, unfortunately, I’m stuck with electric because gas is not available at our home. Dam the range anxiety. Oh well, merry Christmas: )

I agree and I’m also from MA. If you are a fan of Kelly’s Roast Beef like me they have opened a couple of franchises in Florida which I have travelled to and they are just like home. St. Pete area

I gotta say, there have been some new complaints this year.
Not many dog poop, parking or golf car speeding posts in 2024. A Festivus Miracle.

Actually, you're not stuck. Give yourself a Christmas give of an induction cooktop or range. Works almost identically to gas. Merry Christmas

Same to everyone,
Rich1, doing the lord's work, much appreciation and respect

this BBS/web site is the best by far in my 30+ years of using the internet. .

as much as I have disagreed with people here, and they with me, I have learned alot from many posters, even if the posters aren't professionals voicing their amateur opinions, and from those who are professionals

The Villages is a wonderful concept and a great place to live. . .

Peace all
