Default Searching for Room for Rent

Hello. I'm looking for a room to rent by end of September in the Wildwood or Lady Lake, FL areas. I'm a male in my mid-20's and also a healthcare professional. I'm not like most males my age as I'm very friendly, outgoing, and clean. No criminal background. I have over 3 years of housekeeping experience so your house would be kept in good shape. All I ask is I have access to a private bedroom, private bathroom, shared use of kitchen, laundry, and mailbox, and a parking space. Please comment your phone number and address with serious inquiries if interested or if you know of anything. Thanks!

Be aware that if you find someone to rent you a room in their Villages home, while they are living there at the same time, then your landlord is violating their deed restrictions. Homes are considered single family residential so homeowners are not allowed to rent out rooms to non family members while living there. Also, that would be considered running a business out of the home, which would also violate a deed restriction. That's not to say that someone will not rent you a room, but it is against two deed restrictions. Same goes for those renting rooms through AIRBNB while simultaneously living in the home.

Look in Monday thru Wednesday in the Villages daily Sun. There was someone looking for a roommate in their home. They may have not found anyone yet. If you dont have those papers you might be able to go online at the newspaper.

Well since you are a health care professional you must be aware there is a pandemic and social distancing is much healthier than renting rooms to people who are not family.

Not really!! He shouldn’t be ALLOWED to live in the Villages. He is only 20 and not a family member first of all. And yes why would someone want to rent a room to a healthcare worker at this time.

First of all age minimum is 19 so he’s ALLOWED second get off your entitlement horse and I don’t know maybe try to be a positive outlook for a young man. Could you image people being this ugly to you at that age. FYI I am he works in The Villages. I swear half the people in The Villages forget that they used to be young and work For a living. .....smh such a shameful attitude

Wow, didn't know this. I was about to give the OP 2 names of Airbnb hosts in The Villages. I guess I better not throw them under the bus!

He stated he is looking in the Wildwood and Lady Lake area, not The Villages. As for him being a healthcare worker; most are much more conscious of the precautions needed to protect others in the home.

He was simply asking for a little help finding a place.

I’m sure you’ll find someone to rent you a room. Disregard the person lecturing about deed restrictions, there are a select few in The Villages that have nothing better to do than to intrude in other’s business.
