You will be better off in the long run if you don't get convicted. If you say you were drinking any amount or fail a sobriety test, you are getting convicted.

Now in my current adulthood status I would say that if you take a sobriety test there is no way you will pass. I feel now that if you have to take that test you are all but already convicted. HOWEVER, as a young adult, leaving Hampton Beach NH, I was pulled over, took the field sobriety test and passed. I was drunk but not hammered, maybe 4 or 5 beers over 2.5 hours. The officer estimated me at 0.6 or something. But who knows, maybe it was my white priviledge.

More than likely due to the fact that you drank those beers sensibly, over a pretty good length of time. Alcohol metabolizes at approximately 1 ounce per hour, so the breathalyzer you took probably reflected a hair over two beers, not the entire total.

Congratulations by the way. There are a lot of Villagers who could benefit by imbibing more slowly as you apparently did.

Apologies for crossing threads but DUI cases were historically low at Katie Belles as most adhered to your premise....two drink minimum over 4-5 hours!

Thanks. 40 years ago I quit for 12 years but then those wine studies came out about its heart health benefits. Now, I realize no alcohol is beneficial for anything.

Yet you have to go somewhere that sells alcohol to buy it. Why isn’t it available in places that only sell non alcohol beverages?

And telling them you had 2 beers or taking a field sobriety test and you are also getting arrested but you’ve given them more evidence. By the time they get the mandatory blood test you could be a lower limit.
