However, it would be very nice for the several thousand fellow Villagers living in the greater SS area to not have the original Villages town square, in relatively close proximity to their homes, become degraded to second class status. Oh well, I guess everyone should see this as an important lesson. Resources will be allocated away from mature areas and focused on areas experiencing rapid new development. As time passes, it could very well be the area where your home is that is de emphasized?

Um Spanish Sorings was packed!
Scooter always draws in a crowd because a lot of people like to line dance. He also MC events for The Villages that the other bands are incapable of doing. A lot of the bands don’t come close to drawing the crowds Scooter does. Sounds like a case of two left feet syndrome to me.

You may not like him but he is one of the most popular acts in The Villages. He always brings in a crowd of dancers and the more they dance the more they drink.

So the Spanish Springs area has dozens of stores and restaurants, beautiful trees and open spaces. South of 44 we have only strip-mall stores, no chain restaurants and ONE overpriced gas station for over 15,000 homes. Relic comes on a night where many people are at private parties. Neither Relic or Rocky are here in November. Only Sawgrass is closed on Thanksgiving (I guess there isn't entertainment EVERY day). WHO gets screwed?

Pay Attention, they're the Doctors, Nurses, Teachers and folks in support roles in the area. Their Disposable Income in on full view every night at the Squares, in the restaurants.

Snowbirds And people who live here year round make T.V. spectacular.

Spanish Springs was absolutely packed on Halloween! I don’t think Scooter had anything to do with it.

So The Villages' one and only Hometown Halloween celebration was last Saturday at Brownwood (of course it would be, having it on the 31st would make no sense at all) and Relic played.

Tonight Relic is playing at Sawgrass. This is not a special Halloween celebration, just a normal Thursday night that just happens to be the actual Halloween but the Villages celebrated that last Saturday so....

It looks like Relic played in Spanish Springs on 10/4. Relic has not played in LSL at all in October. Tonight at LSL is Beauty and the Beats who is probably good (I think I'll be there) but is not (yet?) one of the more popular bands. Maybe it is LSL that is getting screwed.

Scooter is awesome. Relic is not my type of music. Wish Sawgrass could have swapped. Only thing is dance floor small for scooter.

Scooter performs every year at Spanish Springs for Halloween because that’s the Halloween party at Spanish Springs so he’s very interactive and they have a costume contest and stuff so a regular band just doesn’t work out for all the events they have for Halloween. Plus scooters fun I do enjoy him. He performs at the events because he’s so interactive like he did college colors day so he could introduce each college. He plays a lot of the holidays.
