Spanish Springs was packed Halloween night. Dance floor was jammed with fun weirdos

Neither Relic or Rocky are here in November. Only Sawgrass is closed on Thanksgiving (I guess there isn't entertainment EVERY day). WHO gets screwed?
Sawgrass is not a town square. Only town squares get entertainment every night (weather permitting).

The point of this thread is that The Villages needs to schedule TOP FLIGHT TALENT on holidays and special occasions. 'Scooter the DJ' does NOT meet that criteria. My wife and I went to Lake Sumter Landing on Halloween and enjoyed the band "Beauty and the Beats". All of The Villages' Town Squares deserve to have TOP FLIGHT TALENT on special occasions.

This was our first Halloween here. On a whim, we went to SS to get out of the house. We were surprised by the huge block party occurring. The square was jammed, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Costumes, pets, cars, young and not so young hanging out together. Scooter was doing a great job, keeping everyone dancing.

Who gets to define TOP FLIGHT TALENT? Perhaps those that attend the performances, such as:

Plus scooters fun I do enjoy him. He performs at the events because he’s so interactive like he did college colors day so he could introduce each college. He plays a lot of the holidays.

Scooter always draws in a crowd because a lot of people like to line dance. He also MC events for The Villages that the other bands are incapable of doing. A lot of the bands don’t come close to drawing the crowds Scooter does. Sounds like a case of two left feet syndrome to me.

Some might argue that the ability to pack the square is one of the definitions of TOP FLIGHT TALENT.

Just like Audio Exchange. When we moved to the Villages they played at the Squares several times a month. They haven’t been here for several years.

.........and yet the SS square was packed with people enjoying themselves.
Scooter has a talent. He gets crowds dancing and having fun.
Not a fan of him myself, but have never seen any square where he performs less than packed.

As do the Spazmatics, the Hooligans, and several other bands that play here. They also have a very large following here in the Villages.
