I did the same with Apple Safari and it also worked fine. Changed the settings in IE but still no luck.

.
The cameras already have that ability but it is not made available to the web viewer. Not sure what model cameras they are currently using but at one time I know they used the Axis 214 PTZ. PTZ stands for pan tilt zoom and the 214 went for about $1200.00 without the optional mount and bubble cover.

Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
Bring up the web cam and most likely you will be on the Lake Sumter Landing camera. Click on "Go to Spanish Springs Town Square" that is located below the web cam image. This will take you to the Spanish Springs cam and this time a blue line will appear at the top of the window asking if you want to install ActiveX. Say yes to that and it will install and you will now be able to see both cams.

The way TV IT department has things set up only installs ActiveX from the SS cam and not the LSL cam.

Russ Boston: followed your instruction and the only 2 choices with the word "active" in it were: (1) Allow active content from CD's to run on my computer and (2) Allow active content to run in files on my computer. So I went to the "help" section and typed in ActiveX Camera Control and the result was "0 results".
Also: I do not know what Redtail meant by "went to chrome and it opened fine".
Any suggestions? Thanks.

It doesn't matter what browser you use. However, you need to make sure you have the web address correct. It is hard to tell when you see the link, but there is an underscore (_) between "cam" and "ss" in the web address. You can't see it because the link underline hides it. Try to copy and paste this link into your browwer.

If that doesn't work, just google "Spanish Springs Web Cam" and click the appropriate link.

Yes, I have the underscore. I googled as you suggested from my computer and my friends and got the same message both times. This is very frustrating.
