Their deaths should send a message to all those anti-vaxxers that listened to them. Hope they get it.

I've been exposed to COVID-19 over the past year. Thankfully I haven't been sick. I also haven't been tested. I keep thinking that nose-swab thing is gonna make my nose bleed for sure (I have a deviated septum and the bleeders can erupt just by taking an aspirin). |

In facilities Code Black is standard for Impending Weather Issue.
Code Black is used as overhead paging to announce possible tornado, severe storm are in immediate area. Employee’s are not allowed to leave during a Code Black, until all clear is announced. Term has been standard in multiple facilities in different states, I have worked at over 40 years. In the last month we a had Code Black 4 times, that can make a 12 hour shift very long. Little surprised the doctor would use the same terminology as a severe weather alert. There is a code usually for no beds, ED full, water issues, infant abduction, so on. All codes are on employee badges for reference

Since the original theme of this thread is the scarcity of hospital beds because of Covid, what would you do in this situation. You are in charge of triage at a hospital with only one open bed. There are two very sick patients with Covid that both desperately need a bed. Both patients are basically identical except one is fully vaccinated and the other is not vaccinated by choice. Who would you give the bed to?

I find it remarkable how some people will refuse a vaccine because it isn't officially approved but will jump at the chance to take horse meds or other foxy stuff and wind up in the hospital and die anyway. I guess that's the price of stupidity, sorry, freeeeeeedom!

No fair. Of course the un-vaccinated minor should have the bed if not old enough for the vaccine.

I didn't think so either, proving why it's so important to quote the message you're replying to.
The reason I didn't think so is because I can't imagine being that callous to someone sick in the hospital.

Perhaps not, but then why didn't that poster come right back and clarify the post?
