I doubt anyone "needs" a sticker on their mailbox.

the postal boxes are not your property, therefore you may not put stickers or anything else on them. the usps has the right to keep them clean. my opinion is that you should not need a unique sticker on your mail box so that you can find it....just memorize the location/number.

All good reasons. And the postal worker has already told this person he is not taking stickers off of mailboxes, so obviously that faction of the usps doesn't care. Nobody removes them at our postal center...

To the OP, are they all removed, or just yours? Maybe you have a nasty neighbor.

People do it for fun! Like wearing blinking Santa Claus earrings at Christmas. Well, not exactly the same.

Anyway, if it bothers you, you're probably spending way too much time looking at post office boxes!
