Default Swap homes

I live in a new patio villia in The Village of Buttonwood. I would really like to swap houses for a month with someone who lives on the historic side or close to. We could "do" rental agreements, etc. to protect each other. Anyone interested or is this just plain crazy?

Would you mind telling me why you would want to do this, Lynn?

This sounds like a fun idea. I have always wondered what the Historic side was like. We live in Hadley so it wouldn't work with us, but I will be interested in hearing how this idea works out for you....

I'll ask around, Lynn. I have some friends who also own more than one home on the historic side. Our empty house is under contract with a realtor and we are trying to sell it, otherwise; I'd consider trying to work out something with you. Good luck. I know you'd love it over here.

I think this is a great idea .... We do something similar at our motorcycle club....We offer home swaps with club members from around the United States for free...Such as someone in Key West wants to come to Indianapolis for a week to go to the big race and all the festivities...I live 8 miles from the track so I can swap homes for a week and go to the keys....I have stayed on the historical side a few times and i will tell you they have a lot to brag about there and some things I don't care for...Go check it out...

Lynn,
Swapping would be difficult, I can't imaging someone here in the Historic side wanting to go over to Buttonwood, this side in my opinion has so much to offer a resident. You must have seen the chatter about the developer now starting to build over here, he sees the value in this historic side. Come over, drive around, find a friend here, and visit.

i understand why you want to swap houses for a month...we stayed in different villages everytime we came to choose where we wanted to live..there has to be someone who would love to switch with you even up..maybe if you stated that it would be off months that would help.
