Many windows, like ours do NOT tilt in, and the only way to clean the outside of the window is to remove the screen.

That’s interesting. What year was your house built. If not mistaken, all the newer homes on the south side have tilt windows.

John, I have an Austin model built in 2007 and all my windows tilt in for easy cleaning.
