I don’t know the “rules” for build along the exits of the turnpike. Just from observation, I would say gas stations are restricted. They would compete with the service plazas. While I would like to see a Buc-ee’s, it will not happen on the turnpike. First, the “rules”. Secondly, the amount of land needed for a Buck-ee’s. The Villages owns most of the land around the Wildwood and CR 470 exits. They are not going to use that area for a gas station.

I don't know when these plans were formulated but a lot has changed in the past couple of years (as if we need reminding!). Don't know if you can count on that "workforce" anymore.

Perfect.

I would also love a casino, a bowling alley and a mini golf course - not just the putting greens.
The new rec center that opened, Homestead, has astronomy pads and fire pits (where the hours are listed as 7 am to dusk lol)

We drive 30 to 50 minutes from our northern home to Sam’s, Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and the commissary. Once a month, with unbelievable 2 lane to 6 lane traffic.

In TV we drive for the same shopping an hour, but two trips. Gainesville for Sam’s (bigger store) Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and any restaurant your heart desires. Westley Chapel for Costco, commissary, Italian Market, finish with Greek Restaurant.

We visit with family and friends on both trips. Enjoy different venues, 1-75 both ways. We rarely shop in TV, except for farmers market. Fast food is not on our itinerary.

I don’t shop with a golf cart, we enjoy driving, to other areas. Waiting for wants and needs for shopping is low on my list this year.

Most won't get it because they don't read all the posts. It's OK..... sometimes I just say things to amuse myself.

Or the author could just move to the northern end of TV and have all he wishes for. Problem solved. You moved there, why didn't you understand what support was close by and what you'd have to travel to get???

Guessing the Villagers will have to come out of retirement. 😁
