Remember Jan and Dean's song "Surf City" and the line "Two girls for every guy." I read somewhere (becasue men die earlier than women) in TV there are "7 girls to every guy." Not sure how accurate the stats are, but if you are a nice guy I'm sure you'll fit in.

For some of the females here, you don't even have to be a nice guy. In all seriousness, though, you'll have little problems fitting in if you smile, are friendly, willing to help a neighbor or two (or even a stranger). Go out and do things, join clubs, find your activities. You won't regret it. Oh, and stay away from Katie Belle's unless you really, really want to be hit on.

Default Many thanks

Many thanks for your input to Graciegirl, Tom Hannon, TJChicago, Redwitch,Nonie, Shandell and Xavier. Sounds like I definitely need to give the Villages a go. I'm making plans to arrive by 4/1.

graciegirl and salybow:

Put me on that list also. Hope 2bntv this year hopefully.

FRMChicago:

It sounds like you won't have any trouble meeting someone especially if you like to dance.

It' s true about Katie Belle's. During my first LSV, I was approached by a lady.

If you are friendly and outgoing, you won't have any trouble meeting people.
