Here in SoCal where our summer has practically just begun with 110+ temps this weekend, it’s very difficult to relate. 🥵 Hoping to be there in cooler temps before much longer. 😜

As a life long Southern Californian I totally agree with your comment about California. When we travel up to Northern California it’s a different world up there. Much prettier in my opinion.

I put my sweetheart on year-round. About twice/week, and we're both happy.

We seem to have slowed down a bit as we got older.

Love the Minnesota State Fair. Hotdish on a stick, yummmm!

[QUOTE=tophcfa;2132269]September is upon us and it’s getting cold up here in the Berkshires. Just closed up the windows and put on a sweatshirt for the first time in a very long while. Temperature is dropping fast and is forecasted to hit 45 degrees later tonight. Time to pull the fishing boat from the lake, take the window A/C unit out for the season, and start the Villages packing pile.
Friend sent my this from NY.

Doesn’t beat the 3 late yesterday driving from SS with Florida plates….banking they have lived here for years, and either never understood, or forgot how a roundabout works

I know a lot of folks snowbird but, many of us permanent folks hate when this time comes.
Sorry. TV has grown so much since we came (just 5 years ago). Roads are horrible and overcrowded with way too many folks that don't know what they are doing.
Bet people said that about us too when we first came. Now we get it.
