I've been in the outlet store at St Augustine where everything they intend to sell is 50% off , which makes a shirt sell for $59. How many $59 shirts do I need? How much does a $59 shirt cost to make in Sri Lanka. Another store to prey on our visitors.

Good. A range of stores -- thrift, consignment, outlet, retail, upscale -- is exactly what a community of our size needs. Shirts from $9 to $159 should be enough to suit anyone's taste.

"Prey on our visitors"??? Have never bought anything yet because a store took out my wallet and took my cash or card!

I love Tommy Bahama furnishing, but not always in the budget. Clothing may work in FL, not so much in PA. It would be an interesting addition to The Villages.
I agree with all your comments including the furnishings - very attractive but very pricey. This will be a good addition to Brownwood.

If it is too expensive for most villagers, it won't float. That doesn't mean anything good or bad about Tommy Bahama'a or anything good or bad about Villagers.

We are as a whole, a thrifty bunch. Some call us cheap. We don't want to outlive our savings.
