If I was their employer, and I knew about it, I would look for someone else to do the job.

Take a ride around your village any warm summer night after 9:00 PM and you can smell it quite strongly. And I grew up in the 60's and remember vaguely what it smelled like.

May I ask what you would have done if you had witnessed a cleaner of a Rec. Center smoking a joint outside after the center was closed? Do you honestly think that a call to 911 would have brought a police car if you said you saw someone smoking marijuana?

I've smelled it whaffing across our steet on a few occasions. More than likely for medicinal reasons I bet.

The over-all thoughts of Villagers on this site never ceases to surprise me. Judging from the comments in this thread and comparing it to the several threads on golf cart speeds; driving 21 MPH in your golf cart is a much, much more serious crime than doing illegal pot or other such "recreational drugs".

I for one, don't like the idea that my CDD fees are going towards the paychecks of people who are half buzzed when trying to perform their assigned work for my Villages facilities. And then there is the matter of them jumping into their cars all hopped up and driving home.

Okay, I understand the pot thing and we are all grownups but what I want to know is when exactly does this start so I can get ready for it?

We are all adults here.

Some of us are older than others but we know what pot smells like.

We didn't just fall off a turnip truck.

We have sex too.

Gracie, old but not dead.

I am impressed!
Just how close to these guys were you?

I suspect at least 100 feet or more. Pot must really hang heavy in the open air.

And accurate enough to pinpoint that the guys you saw smoking "something" were in fact the ones who were smoking the joint that was being smelled.

We all know the story wouldn't stand a chance in hell of being accepted by the police or courts or any other quorum.

But I remain impressed and glad I wasn't smoking something near by.
