Tom -- LOL about your comments about Farmville. My nieces play Farmville. I just don't get it. I'm not into Facebook at all for personal reasons...but to those who enjoy Facebook, rock on.

To paraphrase what someone else said...

Facebook allows you to keep your friends who you know from work, school or a club and you are friends with because they are around. When they stop being around, you lose touch, sometimes even if you really didn’t want to lose touch with them. And sometimes you just have a mild interest in keeping in contact. Facebook allows you to follow their lives, without going to any more trouble than you want to interacting with them. No phone calls, no emails, no coffee dates but you still get to see little things about them. It gives you a window into their life. So, friendships stay strong, or at least, continue on some level.

I'm a FB gamer and I play because: it reduces stress, it gives me the chance to be strategic, it's free, it's fun, it gives me a chance to meet new friends, and I don't have to get dressed to play!

If you are not using FB because of the game posts you can "X" the games out so you never have to see them. All you do is put your cursor on top of the post, click on the "X" to the right then click on "Don't show any posts from..." Wahlah! No more game posts from that particular game!

Speaking about Facebook, I caught a virus and crashed my computer from the Facebook applications. This made it necessary to create new e-mail addresses and the like.

Now I am going as Taltarzac725.

Still milking the cows and sending the boats on Facebook though.

Hey Bright, I didn't even realize you are now Flipflopz! Thanks for the great explanation about the joys of Facebook. Now I finally get it!

Default facebook sad but true

I have a very disjointed family due to a divorce. Well that being said, I have connected with cousins on FB that I have not seen since I was in grade school....nice that I can feel a little connected anyway.
