The only thing that is the same since Havana opened in November of 2008 is the "owner" (and it's not The Villages/Developer). They've had more than one general manager and multiple head chefs. That's a lot of turnover for less than two years of operation. To me that says the problem starts at the very top.

1. The breakfast buffet - not good at all
2. Club Sandwich at lunch time - ummm OK not good, but eatable.
3. NY strip for dinner - yuk It was 1/4 inch think...

We plan to go again this week... I sure hope they get it together soon. We love the location and interior of the club.
Two bad experiences and one mediocre... and you're going back for more.
No real reason for them to change.

We tried Havana on our last trip in June, had the great sounding meatloaf for dinner; more closely resembled hockey puck with pretty good potatoes. We were very disappointed. Service was also very questionable. We hope they pay attention to these remarks, the place has a super atmosphere.

I had varying success with Havana. I thought the mussels dish and the chicken fried steak were good.

The breakfast (not the buffet) was somewhere between so-so and bad. Service on the deck was good but inside has been not so good.
