What about the consequences from the other irate home owners? I know personally of one person who found it increasingly uncomfortable at their location and was happy to get out of their location. Moved further north in TV, and she was more considerate this time. She is now well and happily settled in. Older and wiser…literally.

I disagree if not signed off by the CDD then who says they will not find something after closing. Remember the case of the builder installing a patio over the line or the house they tied to see me where the inground pool was 4 feet over the property line.

I would have thought that if you actually stop them and ask them to explain exactly what they are doing and why, that might shake them up somewhat. If they have no viable answer then ask for their names and addresses and tell them you intend to call the police because you believe they are casing the area for nefarious reasons. You could also pull out your phone and start dialing.

The OP "observed them in his neighborhood." . If you saw Big Foot or Loch Ness Monster that hardly anyone believes exists wouldn't you get your phone as fast as you can?
