Default Tv realtor

Why is it so hard to talk with a Realtor in The Villages? Maybe I should just go outside TV. I'm here this week and I ready to buy a home this week.

Do you need a recommendation for a relator? Why is it that you are having a difficult time talking with a relator?
Will be happy to make recommendation providing you are not already committed to a salesperson.

Wow, have you stopped at the Lake Sumter sales office? Have you talked to a sales rep yet?

I have never had any problems getting to talk to my rep. E-mail replies are always quick and phone call are always promptly returned. Even when I stopped at the sales office to check in for my LSP the rep made it a point to stop for a quick chat even though she was heading to a closing.

All the realtors outside of TV are all very courteous, helpful, returning calls and emails. I have a great real estate agent outside TV, but he can't sell anything sold by TV. Looks like the TV agents would want to be friendly and sell property. Makes one get the feeling that TV isn't the place to be...

Sunny, I just sent you a PM with my Villages recommendation. She is very honest, responsive and professional. I gave you her cell phone number. I don't think you'll be disappointed with her.

Have you gone to any open houses through TV on your visit? Each one (and there are a lot of them) are staffed by a TV rep. usually ready and willing to help AND sell you a house. You can meet them face to face.

Sunny08... what is the problem you are having talking to a TV sales rep? We've talked to a couple and they were very helpful and esay to get a hold of. Try any of the advice given and you should have no problem!

Default Yes, TV sales force (realtors?) will try to sell you.

You state "sell you property. They are in existence to sell you anything TV owns or builds. Many are existing. And in some area you get to choose a lot, but have to have a home built within a year (maybe less depending on current marketing programs).

No they do not sell or represent anything outside TV. Yes, they have a whole group of folks who will be happy to show you resales in TV.

Never heard anybody complain about not being able to get the attention of a sales person from TV.

Tell them what you want/looking for and they will direct you to the appropriate sales force.

Default You aren't going to believe the difference here. The place sells itself.

No attempt was made by the sales force to sell us anything until we asked to be shown homes.

One of the best things about this place is that no one...NO ONE with the developers tries to sell you in the usual way. If you are interested, which I feel sure most people are once they set foot on the reservation, then you call for an appointment and you go to the sales center. They don't pick you up at your home. It is so nice how they all act.

If you are making a lifestyle visit then a Villages representative is assigned to you, but you usually have to contact them.

Our rep was Jim McLaughlin, a kind and knowledgeable senior who lives in The Villages and who has continued to be our friend long after the sale.

If you are looking to buy a preowned home you must have A Village rep and a MlS rep as the Village rep can not show you MLS listings and The MLS Rep can not show you Village listings.

Thumbs up Check This Out....

Sunny, we are selling a beautiful Mandevilla in the village of Tall Trees. The location is ideal for cart access to restaurants, banks, Fresh Market, Publix and Walmart, etc.

Note: Sunny's original post on this thread was in Aug. '09. I think (?) I read on another thread that she has since purchased in TV. I might be mistaken.
