This post brought to mind the iconic Teddy Bear's Picnic song
that my dad had on a 78 record and would play for all his grandkids: If you go down in the woods today You're sure of a big surprise If you go down in the woods today You'd better go in disguise! For every bear that ever there was Will gather there for certain Because today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic Picnic time for Teddy Bears The little Teddy Bears are having A lovely time today Watch them, catch them unawares And see them picnic on their holiday ...... |

I live in Charlotte and we had a mom and cub last year for a few weeks. Apparently they got separated and were looking for each other. The wildlife people said they come out of the Ocala National Forest.

There was a bear that ran through Charlotte Village last year.
There was a wild pig caught in the dumping area between Volusia and Okeechobee this summer. And I also have seen coyotes running into that dump. I have seen lots of bobcats and foxes here as well. |

I wonder if it was Mitchell Trubisky. He might be looking for a new home.

I'm always a bit perplexed when people say that we're in the animals territory and they were here first. Does that mean that they think that animals are equal to humans? Was it intended that people not live on earth? Wasn't every place on earth that humans exist originally occupied by animal?
If there is something wrong with us taking animals territories, where exactly are humans supposed to live. Maybe some believe that the world would be better off without humans.
