I would ask for a list of all fees. If, I recall there was a deposit on the electronic gate card that you get back when you sell
It's not new. Built in 2013 (Pinellas). The way I look at this is that I'll pay whatever fees I am told I have to pay. You can't fight city hall lol.

Off topic a little....The first base I reported to after BootCamp and AO School, someone sent me to find out who had the "keys to the hanger basement". They found that to be very funny

Next base on day 1 they sent me to get "3 feet of flight line". I just took the rest of the day off and went to the beach. When I got to Nam, someone said I need a "bucket of prop wash". I volunteered.

Same here..... I'm in Santiago too.

Thank you in advance for sharing info.
You haven't told us where you plan to live. This is a big place and it makes a difference.

We are in vcd 10 I Read the covanents. They DO require a mailbox fee for the original property owners, I was not. I refused to pay. Rules are rules, after all. The fee was 'waived' pending legal review. It went to legal and never a word was spoken. You do not have to pass the bar to have basic contract proficiency. That was ten months ago.

I closed on a new house in May and there was a $90 Mailbox fee charged on the closing statement. Perhaps there is no fee if you buy a previously owned house.

I'm closing on our sold house this coming Monday. I'll be reimbursed for the mailbox fee and the new owner will be charged this fee.

If you don't mind, would you post a comment (in a new thread?) regarding what happens with your gate cards?

I have been told that you have to turn them in and pay a $125.00 fee and "maybe" -- you will get some money back at a later date.

Don't know it this is true, but I'm curious. It just doesn't sound right.

No mailbox fee for us and no deposits on any utility. Welcome Home. Your first amenity bill may be a lot more than you're expecting depending on when you close. Amenity Bill levels out in the second month.

There was no mailbox fee or gate card fees in 2008...but then those were hard times.

I was told to bring my gate cards to closing along with the mailbox keys. Since we purchased an extra gate card with the old house, they will reissue us an extra with our new house at no charge.

Whoa, I don't remember that one or I just overlooked that one. When moving to TV make sure new residents talk to veteran residents & find out ALL the Pro's & Con's, because TV aren't going to tell you the Con's & they're are some that some of us like & don't like. Overall most like it here, so I guess it just depends what part of the country you came from. Where I came from my highest water bill I ever got was $18. for one month & I lived in this place in Ohio for 17 yrs. Here you'll find out water is HIGH.

No fees in 2010, but when we sold the house, if we did not turn in gate, mailbox key it was $198.00. Since the buyers agent gave them to new owners before closing () we were charged. Took a month to fix it, till he admitted he had the keys and gate passes. Check sent out that week
