Someone else might be offended at the insult and consider this post not worthy of a response. However, since I cannot read I completely missed the objectionable comment.

I am in that category and I still want to wait a little bit to see how it goes.

I am so glad to know that our politicians are safe, while our hospital staff and long term care folks keep waiting and hoping.

Good luck all. Stay healthy
Had you actually LISTENED when they were showing all the "important lawmakers" getting shots you might have heard the reason for it was to convince people who were afraid that it was safe and didn't include Microsoft Microchips and dead baby parts in the needle as is going around on some of the wacko websites. The purpose was if famous people like the VP and former presidents etc etc got it then we can trust it to be safe and then all the wacko "Q" folks and anti-vaxers MIGHT MAYBE consider taking it so TRUE herd immunity could eventually be reached when hopefully 70% (or whatever the number is) of the population got it.

Walgreens has said they expect to have the vaccine in their stores, similiar to the flu vaccines, by early spring. I'm guessing the at risk population can get it sooner, perhaps by going to hospital outpatient clinics where it will be stored and administered.

Mind blown that people would line up for an over the night vaccine.

If they have a dedicated person giving the shot and give one every 5 minutes, they do the flue every 2-3 minutes, each location can do over 1000 per day that means that they should have everyone done in 2-3 weeks per shot. Does anyone know how long e time between first and second shot?

Why should the villages get involved?? Its a flu shot. Villages should stay out of the dispensing. Its being given out at cvs, walgreens etc. Just like flu shots each year! Plus, dont expect to have it available to anyone besides front line people until June or so.

If someone texts you or calls asking you for your private information like your social security # to set you up for the COVID vaccine be warned not to give it out!!! CVS or Walgreens would not do this on line or call nor would your doctor so please be aware.

Do you have a source for that estimate? DeSantis indicated availability regardless of health status, age, or circumstance as early as February.

You mean here in The Villages we live in?!?!

The Villages where a lot of people think it’s a hoax and it will all go away around January 21st?!?!

The Villages where a lot of people still won’t mask up and go out to the restaurants like nothing is going on?!?!

Right............

With the attitude that people here in This Villages has about the pandemic, there should be plenty of vaccine to go around several times.
