The closest pickle ball courts to Phillips Villas is about 3/4 mile or more away. We live in Phillips next to.pool and do not hear anything ever. Phillips is a very quiet neighborhood isolated from traffic and noise. Inside your home there you can not hear any noise outside except maybe thunder. There is no gas lines, however I do know one home on Ford St. had propane installed for a gas stove. I am not sure what it cost, but obviously can be done. The utilities in those homes is very reasonable because they are so well built and insulated. Because of the way they are placed, the sun does not effect the lanai's.

Oh you'll hear them! Of course it depends on your hearing and tolerance for noise, but I couldn't live that close to pickleball. I love to do it, but not so much hear it while I'm trying to read a book!

And if you find them, join them because it is wonderful for your health and welfare and tell the old guy to turn down his hearing aid.

I would simply do my due diligence and go to that location or any other I was considering to buy and just sit there at different times of the day for an hour or so and listen for diffenent noises. Then I would go again to observe different sun rises and sunsets to determine if certain conditions exists that matter to you. Good luck.

It is very obvious by some of these comments that the people talking have no idea where Phillips Villas are in relation to the pickle ball courts at Mulberry Recreation center. There is Forsythe Villas across from the Mulberry Rec Center, but that is not what the OP is asking about. Philips is far away to the east of the rec center on the east side of the VA hospital. I just measured and it is almost a mile away with the rec center, Codys, Walgreens, a nursing home, several medical buildings, Beef Obradys Publics, the VA hospital a huge field, and a wall between the homes and the PB courts, no way you can hear anything all the way up there. Please do not listen to people that have no clue. Go see for yourself any morning.

You might want to check to see if gas service is even offered in that area.

We had a propane tank buried in our backyard (required by TV), with gas line to summer kitchen and new gas kitchen stove. We used Fireplace installers. They were awesome. Handled all of the permits, inspections, etc.

No real Rec center near that. One question is why would you want to Buy in a Village so far away from everything. It will take 30 minutes to get to the Town Squares. I live in Woodbury and it takes almost 25 minutes for us by Cart

All my homes I’ve preferred facing west I spend more time on lanai in morning , I do have a drink or coffee at night around 6 but I have sun shades that stop the glare but I can still see out . Yes it warmer but you look ve in Florida not back home , get used to it

Woodbury has no areas that I know of that are close to a rec center.

Wrong, too far from mulberry and you got traffic on 42 and building’s between. Like someone said may hear Cody’s faintly from there cause it closer and angled and sound travel Down mulberry lane.
