BTW - I have the same scheduling problem with my boyfriend when it comes to @@@. He also states that he has a scheduling problem as he is filled-up for the next month. He also states, its supply and demand.

I told him then I'm taking my business to another caring man who can fit me in. Problem solved!

Car dealerships require the car is serviced by a mechanic certified for that specific make of car. If not the warranty is usually voided and the resale value may be dropped. Might be the same for golf carts.

DURING THE PERIOD OF WARRANTY, any authorized Yamaha golf car service technician, dealer will, free of charge, repair or replace, at Yamaha’s option, any part adjudged defective by Yamaha due to faulty workmanship or material from the factory

No, that is not true. You are free to do your own maintenance and non-warranty repair work, or have an independent mechanic do the work, and you will maintain your factory warranty. You, of course, need to keep records and receipts and use the correct parts. For example, if you do your own oil changes, you need to use oil with the correct weight and API rating. This is covered under the Magnuson-Moss Law. If the needed repair is a factory warranty issue, you should take it back to the dealer, obviously, because they will pay for it.

Default Villages Golf Cars

They also take a few “walk ins” each day, about 5 or so, first come first served when they open.
Appointments are convenient but if you get there when they open they will give you a loaner and call you when yours is done.
The 2 times I did this they called before I even got back home.

Default "Service" after the sale?

And "The Villages Golf Cars" will tell you that "service" is a reason to buy from them. NOT TRUE. Also, their price for new golf cars is over $1,000 higher than either of the other two Yamaha dealers in the area.

We just bought a new cart, but not from TV. I have a question, are any of the people noted Authorized Yamaha Technicians? I don't want to void my warranty!

They obviously are very successful with almost everyone here owning one or two golf carts. They do a good job and they will either expand or their competition will get the business.

If you pay $1,000 MORE than other dealers, you should EXPECT good service.
