My take on this: . Much of what goes on in TV is developer driven, and directed towards marketing of TV. This was going on before I was here, and I was well aware of that fact before I bought. I like it more than I don't like it, and I strongly suspect more people like it than don't like it. It's part of the culture here. Not my favorite part, but it's part of it, and while there are parts of the culture here I'm not crazy about, there is so much I do like about TV that, like most of us, I accept the parts I'm not wild about so I can enjoy the parts I am wild about.

Now, let's get back to Tommy Roe, and "Oh Sweet Pea"...

I say that all the time. I watch local news at 6:00 and world news at 6:30. I don't understand why people watch "news" so much. It's not healthy, and for the most part not true, which was recently proved in a huge lawsuit settlement.
