I'll start limbering up my arm for my visit. I guess I'll have to learn to drive with one arm - 65,000 people - that's a lot of waving!

I really did try waving to people yesterday while driving my golf cart. Taking my hand off the wheel as any times as I had to made me feel a little insecure(especially the way I drive)! Golf carts kept going by and I had to keep driving with one hand, the cart did not seem to stay on track for me.

I did notice people smiling and nodding tho as I went by but not waving. Now Im not sure what to do, I certainly dont want to appear unfriendly! :dontknow: Such a problem!!!

If you can't wave, a big smile and nod of the head will suffice. wav wav wav wav

I always wave (or nod, if I can't take my hand off the wheel).

I noticed too, that people seemed to wave less during our stay this winter............so then I started not waving as often. Because of this post, I'll resume my waving. This was a good reminder. After all, aren't we known for our friendly community?

If you see a guy who looks like my avatar (pic taken today while i'm bored stiff at work!) waving furiously during the week of April 26 - May 2 just flag me down and introduce yourself. I'd love to meet some of the regulars of TOTV during my stay.

I'm becoming a waving fool. Did some errands this morning -- waved at cars, golf carts, walkers, dogs (they seemed to appreciate the most), workers. Everyone who actually saw me wave, waved back. One setter's tail was still going like crazy when I turned the corner. ;D

We always wave at other golf carts and the trolley. Sometimes by the time people return a wave we have gone by and don't see them.

As a former biker - yeah they waved - as a current Vette owner - yeah they wave - and livin here in KY even the pick up truck good ol boys wave or nod. Now I was never used to that until we moved to KY. So what's the problem in TV? I just got through braggin to a newbie on how friendly the people are in TV. If you don't wanna wave to me when I drive by you I hope your line breaks at your next bass tournament. There I'm Done.

Being Kansas born and bred we "farmers" (even us city folk who considered ourselves farmers) waved to everyone!

Driving down the country roads, not only did the drivers of all the pickup trucks (and that's about all they drive in farm country) wave, but also the farmers on tractors from the fields as we passed. I always made a joke about buying one of those spring waving hands that attach to glass...it would always be waving driven by the well known blowing Kansas winds and I'd never have to do it manually again!

I'm just warning you...when I arrive in TV tomorrow evening...

...if you see a lady in a light green GAS golf cart with a gold Parrot's Landing emblem on the front waving...it's ME!!!!! And if I can figure out a way to attach a Parrothead Hat and Margarita sunglasses to my cart, then you'll know it's me for sure!
