It's the Daily Mail. And the NY Post. No one should be surprised by this, at all. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Morse family fed the old rumor to them. There's no such thing as "bad press" as they say.

Roger Rabbit Shave and a Haircut

If the secret handshake is known by everyone they are going have to find something other than loofahs.

So when one goes to Disney or universal you will see mesh shower puff balls on cars to distinguish their car from the hundreds of rental cars.

Unless it’s code at Disney or Universal that those in the cars swing to all theme parks.
Just Villagers at Disney hoping for a hookup while they are there.

I think I could come up with a good one.
The loofah’s have been around at least 4 years as someone was handing them out at the home show. Car or golf carts have them so look if interested.

More of the usual BS. Good friends of ours moved here (i.e., “den of iniquity and perverse pleasures”) from Maine years ago. Their relatives, friends and neighbors gave them a farewell party complete with gag gifts. It was more like a frisky bachelorette and bachelor party. Seems like the media won’t let it go.
First it was the color of a ladies shoes …….now luffas (???). Ridiculous!!!! There is no “there” here.

Funny! I suspect that shower puff balls on golf carts are primarily used by a few people to help them remember where they parked. Or maybe they are to remind people to exfoliate. Of course, if you are a swinger, it can be difficult to remember where you parked. So to speak. Please consider shower puff balls as representing sexual tastes to be a complete hoax. There are several dozen swingers in The Villages, just as there are very rare cases of STDs. Some estimates claim that 2.35% of Americans are swingers (that seems unlikely), and if that held true here, we would have over 3,000. We don’t. And our STD rate is FAR below the national average. After all, most of us are home watching television by 8 p.m., and most of us haven’t had a new partner in decades. Or sex in decades, for that matter.

Now, if you see someone wearing an upside down pineapple, on the other hand, that might mean something. And I do enjoy a good pineapple upside down cake. I had some on my birthday.

Has anyone ever actually met an admitted "swinger" here? If they are so pervasive, surely someone has met one in the flesh. If they actually exist, they must be hanging out with Bigfoot in his lair, or perhaps they were all abducted by aliens.

Yes. He moved to Clearwater. His pooch had a mohawk. All the rest of the dog's body was shaved except for the middle of his head.

My girlfriend many years ago was approached in Katie Belle's to join a swinger party. Older lady, very conservatively dressed, not attractive per se. Anyway I was dancing when I saw a man and a woman talking to her (found out later they were husband and wife) asking if she would like to join a swingers party later that evening. They said there were a couple men upstairs at the bar that would accompany her. She said NO and walked away. Just like any other city and town in America this does exist. So be it. Not interested.
