Sometimes it is best to just walk away with our mouth's shut in situations like this. The poop that wasn't in your yard will probably biodegrade before your neighbors get back home.

And you could have shaken your finger at them and said "naughty naughty" and waved so they knew they were caught and left it at that.

Trying to maintain neighborhood peace with difficult, lazy, and selfish people is sometimes worth the effort in the long run.

Over the years it has worked for us.

Dog PEE kills shrubs. I live in a Villa neighborhood and my front yard is all shrubs, right along the roadway where people walk their dogs.

Please don't use my shrubs for a potty stop.
