Traffic in The Villages? You folks never been to a real city like Boston, Washington DC, or Pittsburgh to see what traffic really is and why we are so happy to be FAR, FAR from the traffic?

The posts on this thread make for humorus reading. So many pie in the sky wants. So many people that just cannot wait for the area to develop. Wonder if some even looked around before signing on the dotted line............

There are plenty of restaurants for breakfast like Bob Evans and Perkins. Isn't the place getting too built up already? If you wanted all the stores of your old home, why not stay there? We are giving up fresh streamed blue crabs, many stores, small churches, etc.? but did that 40 yrs ago when I moved to the County from Philadelphia area. Instead of wanting what you had in your old area, enjoy what you have now.

Not quite. The developer has a huge chunk of land right in TV that could be donated for park use. Maybe as a last official act before they move on to greener pastures. Just a suggestion Gary.

I'd like to see a playground for grand kids. The playground in Sumter Landing is pretty poor. There are a lot of things in and around TV for older grand kids to enjoy, but we are getting resistance from our kids to come down here with our young grand kids. They are too young for Disney, bowling, miniature golf, fishing, etc. so visits down here tend to be a bit boring for them.

There is a nice playground at the Charter School.
