All the park land has been turned into golf courses!

Actually Connie, Lake Sumter Landing is called Market Square. But I agree, why so many different names? It should be Brownwood, Lake Sumter Landing and Spanish Springs.

A coffee shop! A breakfast place that isn't Toojays. Toojays is fine but it would be nice to have something different.

Parks, we have no parks. I would love to stroll but if you are not a golfer you can't go onto the golf courses. Am so surprised that Sumter Copunty has not mandated land to be set aside for parkland.

how about an indoor ski resort, like they built in Dubai, UAE a few years ago?

the snowbirds would feel right at home.

shouldn't cost too much. Mr. H. Gary Morse could write a check for it, I'm sure.

and if they could get started on it soon it might be ready when we finally move to TV in a few years.

A Texas Roadhouse would go so well with the Brownwood theme and they have great little steaks. I also agree that a Dairy Queen would be nice. Nothing like their chocolate dipped cones.

There is absolutely nothing to attract people to Brownwood in the morning until they have a couple of choices for breakfast. You'd be surprised how many of us are early risers and breakfast is our favorite meal. I'm not talking about donuts or pastry's but a full breakfast menu including eggs, bacon, pancakes, potatoes, etc.
At least Lake Sumter has a lake and boardwalk that people enjoy. Brownwood has nothing until lunch or evening.

Just go over to Cracker Barrel and get all the good breakfast you want. Get in your golf cart and motor over to Lake Sumter Landing and have some fine breakfast in less than 15 minutes at TooJays.

Why worry about what is not in Brownwood when in a few minutes you can be at Lake Sumter Landing?

Best breakfast in Lake Sumter is Johnny Rockets followed by TooJays. I'm not worried about Brownwood, but would like to see it be a success and to also have more variety for us.
We love our breakfast and have many places that are outstanding that are up to an hour from our bubble and we go to frequently.
The best kept secret in TV is Athens next to Katie Bells.

Nothing Texan about Brownwood. Brownwood’s design is based on old-look architecture of Old World Florida and takes residents back to a time in the 1800’s when Florida’s cattle hunters and cowboys roamed the state
