I would love to see a performing arts center for groups similar to the Savannah center, a decent level grassy dog park, and some different places to eat.

I would be so happy if Trader Joe's and Costco would come to this area. Then I feel the area would be complete.

I'm finding it interesting that the vast majority of posters on this thread all have some sort of material wants. More stores to spend money in. I've noticed that only a couple of people have mentioned things like a lap pool or performing arts center. I don't think anyone asked for a library or churches. Most interesting.

There is a library and there are churches so I wouldn't read too much into that. BTW: Dog park

Could not help but notice that also. Personally I would like to see another bowling alley, dog park, tennis courts and baseball fields. Do not believe any of those are currently planned for south of 466A.

FYI: The library in the County bldg, 466A & Powell Rd, will be easily accessible via golf carts once the construction in that area is completed.

Instead of posting here, why not complete your resident survey? There is still time to do that. The Developer has a section and reads the "wish list".

I would like some kind of gambling, like a small casino.

Default Good Breakfast Spots

First Watch is an example. But Ihop, Perkins, and Bob Evans would also be welcome additions to the southern Villages. Already mentioned are two favorites, Panera and Dunkin Donuts.

Yes--Starbucks, Starbucks, Starbucks--either Brownwod or Colony Plaza.

Panera and Dunkin Donuts don't serve traditional breakfast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, etc.

Public is way too crowded and noisy. Constantly being bumped into by others doesn't conjure up any sense of pleasantly to me. The Walmart in The Villages is less expensive, has other things besides groceries (get it all done at once) and is THE absolute cleanest Walmart I have ever been in. We would absolutely love a Walmart down south. I like grocery stores that are 'super' stores-- have many things besides groceries. Up in the NW we shop at one of these called Fred Meyer, which is a step or two up from Walmart.

I'd go along with a drive up Starbucks.
