There are so so many opportunities to be even funnier on here but the politically correct, respectful thing gets in the way. There are three people not including me who would be fighting for the lampshade to wear on the head at a party.

Hopefully the next knock on YOUR door is a buyer with cash in hand. (And a lobster)

I think their all related. You have a berry clean house. We love the neighborhood. Will you take half of what your asking? Any further remarks will have me banned from TOTV. They all have alligator arms...can't reach their pocket's. And I always hear a ticking noise when they are in the house???? It will happen soon, it's getting colder.

Did it sound like a giant lobster claw knocking?
I sent a big lobster over to Eagles house. Maybe it got lost and went to Lynhaven.

Voice: (mumbling) Mr. Johannesburrrr?
Tal: Who is it?
Voice: [pause] Flowers.
Tal: Flowers for whom?
Voice: [long pause] Plumber, sir.
Tal: I don't need a plumber. You're that clever shark, aren't you?
Voice: [pause] Candygram.
Tal: Candygram, my foot! You get out of here before I call the police! You're the shark, and you know it!
Voice: Wait. I-I'm only a dolphin, sir.
Tal: A dolphin? Well... Okay. [opens door]
[Huge latex and foam-rubber shark head lunges through open door, chomps down on Tal's head, and drags him out of the house, as Jaws attack music plays. Beau barks.]

CF - you are a hoot. This has to be the best joke of this year!

I sure hope that Lynhaven coyote doesn't get it.

Could have been a giant lobster.

Have not seen or heard any stories about the Lynnhaven coyote nor the bobcat since Halloween or so. Knock on wood. There was a fox a few months ago according to a Community Watchman who stopped and warned me about it when I was out with Beau.

I'm beginning to see more wildlife south of 466A, particularly on and around the golf courses. This surprises me somewhat because of all the construction we still have.

I must have lobster on the brain. I had meant to write coyote.

That is so weird! The exact same thing happened to us! The knock woke both of us from a dead sleep and our dog barked. We went to the door and no one was there. And the sound was the same - sounded like wood knocking on wood.

Yes, definitely not the icemaker. And we have a courtyard villa made of poured concrete so I don't see how it would be a woodpecker.

Tal, have no fear I figured it out sorry it took me a while. The knocker was The Cinnamon Girl! Seriously, consider a police report just to document it.
