Have not seen or heard any stories about the Lynnhaven coyote nor the bobcat since Halloween or so. Knock on wood. There was a fox a few months ago according to a Community Watchman who stopped and warned me about it when I was out with Beau.

I'm beginning to see more wildlife south of 466A, particularly on and around the golf courses. This surprises me somewhat because of all the construction we still have.

That is so weird! The exact same thing happened to us! The knock woke both of us from a dead sleep and our dog barked. We went to the door and no one was there. And the sound was the same - sounded like wood knocking on wood.

Yes, definitely not the icemaker. And we have a courtyard villa made of poured concrete so I don't see how it would be a woodpecker.
