I needed a place to live and I didn't want to be homeless.

It was an "offset" lot, so would take a house with many stretches and give a fair degree of privacy for not too large a lot premium. We joke and say we got a 48 cent postage stamp instead of a 41 cent stamp. We have the price of an interior lot with most of the benefits of a court lot. We love it and built a very very nice Begonia for a very reasonable price. Over 3,000 SF under roof!

I bought because of my Dad. We found ours riding around neighborhoods in the cart. The gentleman was just putting the sign in the window, our good luck. It was perfect for the family. 2 screen porches, great room w/ bedrooms on each side of the home for privacy from the parents! We wrote a contract on a paper bag, always wanted to do this (I have in the RE business for 37 years). The rest is history.
Now all we need is fall and we are back.

In 1988 met with a super salesman. Drove home asking each other , "What did we just do?". Turned out to be a good decision .

Looked at houses online. Found the one with no neighbors behind it with open florida room overlooking a rear fence, pine trees & live oaks. Called the realtor & made appointment to come down to see it. Saw it twice the same day & called him that afternoon & put in an offer which was accepted. I downsized but it is perfect for me.

The model we wanted, on a cul de sac backing to a villa wall. We wanted the privacy.

I like having neighbors behind us but then we do have a fairly deep lot and its staggered between the houses.

Barefoot we had the same chip placed inside of us.

Second trip to TV "just to look". Looked at new then found a resale and my husband saw a picture of Jesus in the garage and we both took it as a sign.

Love, love, love our home. Corner lot with an expanded 2 car garage plus golf cart garage.

Accepted an offer on home in Massachusetts - time is money. Massachusetts Closing Feb 22,2012, drive down, look at houses, put offer in on unbelievable deal and move in March 5, 2012? So instead of a 3 BR CV - we ended up with a 2BR/den ranch in Caroline (turnkey with cart) in a great neighborhood! And I no longer need to text my husband when he is on an upper floor!
