There was a thorough explanation on the use of turn signals in the Daily Sun not to long ago. It will be more courteous and safer if they were used and used correctly. Contact the local Sheriff and I'm sure you will get what you are looking for.

Did somebody eat glass and nails for breakfast? Way to insult people on your third post?

I have lived near Raleigh NC for almost 25 years and it happens here all the time, not just on roundabouts. I have always theorized that people are just trying to extend the life of their flashers and bulbs.

Default Blinker lights

My husband and I have decided that blinkers here in Florida are an option when you buy a car - a lot of people have neglected to get them???? It doesn't matter whether it's a car or a golf cart. It's so frustrating but did get the horn option and aren't afraid to use it.

I stole this picture from someone who posted last year on TOTV - it seemed to fit this thread. I loved it when I saw it.

Default Turn Signels

What's the sense of putting on your Turn Signal when no one’s gonna believe you're really turning.

Default Turn signals and traffic circles

A traffic circle is an intersection. A traffic circle is just like a standard 4 way street intersection but each entrance is like you have a Yield Sign (not a Stop Sign). Vehicles in the traffic circle have the right of way over those waiting to enter the traffic circle (intersection).
Note: There are single lane and dual lane circles in The Villages.
Prior to entering a dual lane traffic circle you should know which exit you are going to take to leave the traffic circle. If you are going to exit at the first right, you must be in the right lane. As you enter the circle, use your right signal and exit the circle. If you are going to exit at the second right, as you pass the first right, use your right signal and exit at the second right. You may also exit at the second right if you entered the circle from the left lane and use your signal as you pass the first exit.
If you plan to exit the circle at the third right you should have entered the circle in the left lane (if it is a dual lane circle) and as you pass the second exit on the right you use your right signal and exit at the third right.
DON'T CHANGE LANES IN A TRAFFIC CIRCLE!!!
USE YOUR TURN SIGNALS SO THOSE BEHIND YOU AND THOSE WAITING TO ENTER THE CIRCLE ARE AWARE OF WHAT YOU INTEND TO DO.
Remember, once you are in the circle, you have the right of way over those waiting to enter the circle but you must use your signal so those around you know what you intend to do. You can be the cause of a traffic crash by not properly using your turn signals and could get a ticket.
If I have misstated anything above, please correct me.
I hope MORE drivers would use turn signals and I would hope that our local police would enforce the laws concerning use of turn signals.
Lets be safe driving in our circles.

About a month ago I was turning North from 466 onto 441 in Lady Lake.
The lady in front of me must have had defective turn signals, but that didn't stop her from indicating her intentions. She held a cardboard arrow about 2 feet long up through the sunroof of her car. She used it again to indicate a lane change on 441. I don't know if her improvisation would hold up in court, but I give her high marks.

Pretty much sums it up quite nicely.

why do so many treat a round about as a stop? No one will be in the circle and some jack wagon comes to a complete stop.

Default Why! Don't people use blinker lights

I haven't seen that many people not using automobile blinkers here. If people are referring to roundabouts I do see that, in fact most people don't. I see no problem with that since there is no need to slow while exiting and they really aren't turns at all . Nope, just a slight bend.
Golf carts ? Yep, not too many people use'm. I always do.

Driving roundabouts are real easy if you, drive slow, watch everyone else, be courteous, and DON'T assume the other guy to doing the same thing.
