I don't know that I am in favor of an RV area, but I just wanted to add that some luxury RV places are so exclusive that they do not allow pop ups, tents, or class C motor homes and your Class A motor home cannot be older than a certain number of years and must be of a minimum length to be accepted. These are definitely upscale places. Just sayin'...

We used to have a motor home and I loved it-so much fun to travel in. But the people who moved to the Villages must have wanted to move to a single family homes area, and would not appreciate a RV park here, regardless how elaborate or well maintained the areas are. There are plenty of RV resorts in this area and all over Florida. If people want to be around RV's I am sure they can find one that they like elsewhere. We actually thought about living in an RV at one time and just tour the country. But it would be ridiculous to bring one here. I can't believe people on here are actually in favor of doing so-can you imagine having some of the horrible drivers we have here trying to drive in the roundabouts and on our roads behind the wheel of a RV?? Not everyone would just park their RV and use a smaller car. Plus like someone said, it seems like they have built a larger percentage of smaller homes, villas, etc. in the south part than in the section between 466 and 466a, so proportionately the number of people appear to be increasing. Not sure if I said that quite right, but with or without snowbirds, renters, full timers, or whoever you are, when we have build out eventually, it is going to be very , very crowded. We do not need any more large groups of people sharing our MM paths . Just my opinion....
