We can fit our Equinox and two golf carts, two bicycles in our garage and use our golf cart side for tools, work bench and storage. I believe our garage might be a bit wider than some. There are some garages that are expanded in depth and others expanded in width. You will never be sorry you chose a home with the extra space.

We are selling our Lily and have a 812 sq ft garage. You can park three cars and a golf car in it. The house is in Pinellas near the Pinellas Plaza.

IMHO, in a house, the kitchen is the most important room followed by the garage. Everything else is of a lesser priority. Garages in The Villages are truly substandard. What is called a two car garage barely fits two cars.
Get the biggest garage you can afford, or find a house with a lot size where you can add on to your liking. I tell my wife that if I outlive her, I'm selling the house and buying a one bedroom house with a five car garage. |

I have a patio villa that I might sell to move up to a larger house. My 2/2 has a1.5 garage and a separate golf cart garage. I am sure you could fit a SUV and 2 carrts in it. And a cart in the golf cart garage.

We have a two car garage with one car and two golf carts in it. No problem plenty of room. The golf carts are part end-to-end. Sometimes one will have to be moved to get the other out. Not a big deal.

Get rid of your stuff then you won’t need to use your garage for storing stuff! You’ll be able to use the garage for your vehicles when you get rid of your stuff.

Our house for sale is just south of 466A, near Pinellas Plaza. It is a designer that backs up to the Premiers. 3+ garage. An expanded Lily on a cul-de-sac.

I think you meant to say one car and two golf carts not 3 golf carts. If you install attic stairs above garage and put ceiling racks in garage this will help give you more space but if you have any tools and landscape maintenance equipment ladders bikes holiday ornaments spare chairs for the squares etc you are not going to have enough room in the garage. You can make it if you keep your car parked in the driveway all the time but I agree with others it's well worth the extra expense to get the house with the two car garage and the golf cart garage if you want everything in the garage at night. There are many homes available for sale with golf cart garages and if you want something new you should consider looking at Deluna south of route 44 as they have many homes about to be listed that are within a few minutes of the golf cart bridge that will cross the interstate and go into Brownwood square. It's a beautiful area with those tall old oak trees covered with Spanish moss in all the biking walking trails. Very pretty area and some excellent prices on new homes down there. They are very busy building lots of commercial down there and within two years you will probably have grocery stores Banks gas stations etc within a few minutes. Prettiest area in The Villages as far as I'm concerned and it will have quick access to Brownwood within a year.yes it is more remote now but think ahead 2 or 3 years if you plan to live here full time it would be a good investment as it is so pretty there. I wish we had those shaded walking trails up here north of 44 as it's too hot to walk and ride bikes with no shade all summer. Another important point is that North of 44 most garages have blocked wall access for two doors that contain air conditioning unit and hot water heater. You can't put any shelves in front of those doors so less wall access for storage shelves etc. South of 44 the homes have tankless hot water heater so only one door for air conditioning unit giving you more wall space for shelves and storage. You will usually get more upgrades if the house has already been lived in by previous owners etc so new homes will cost you more if you have to do or want to do any upgrades such as floors countertops etc. Also need to consider age of home as you may need to replace roofs or air conditioning units if homes are more than 10 years old. you need to make a list of what is a must have in a home and consider proximity to what is important to you. If you want lots of shopping and restaurants readily available you may want to be in the northern sections. If golfing is really important you need to look at golf course maps. If you're more into nature and outdoors you would probably like south of 44. Lots to consider. Good luck
