Ed, you prove that David can go against Goliath and I think this is truly genius! For the liability posters, you need to know the original path in existence for 20 years was through Mr. Brown's land and he only sold it with the caveat that the path would remain. Harbor Chase lived up to their end of the bargain.

BK, do not despair, I'm sure she's been deluged with calls on this. In one of the news videos I saw, she clearly understands the importance of this development and is working on it.

And as a non TV resident neighbor, I can only say that the POA is one top notch organization. You folks are so lucky to have them. So become a member and support them. If anyone will get this resolved, it's them.

Pass the information to them that I provided here and let their attorney see if it sticks to the wall.

My best to all my TV neighbors.

Default Please heed Ed's advice and work through POA

I think Ed's advice to work through POA to approach Mr.Brown is exceedingly wise. If the Villagers most affected by the Concrete Curtain agree to work through the POA, then even I who lives south of 466A will diligently support the efforts to see whether Mr. Brown will grant access. The historic section of TV is just as much The Villages as the new sections. And, yes, we who live south of 466A do care what happens to our fellow Villagers in the historic section. When I hear that POA is involved I will gladly volunteer my time, effort, and money to help find a new legal and appropriate workaround to the Concrete Curtain.

EdV - you're the man - hope this works for our friends in the historic district and any others wishing to use this path.

Anything is possible, but I doubt people would be allowed to drive that distance on Mr. Brown's tree farm. There is irrigation and, well; lots of trees, plants and shrubs there. Please, I hope you don't think I'm being a naysayer. Who knows? He may say yes. It wouldn't surprise me and I wouldn't blame him if he said no.

Also, we have no golf cart paths. Traffic is totally blocked often now where the opening was. I am not complaining, but it could become unsafe. The drive to the new potential opening is much longer.

And that’s why everyone needs to keep their ears pealed to anyone using that one point of access and trespassing across Mr. Brown’s residential property. The last thing folks especially in the historical section is to alienate him by plowing through his residential property on their golf carts without his permission. And for heaven's sake don't go in there knocking on his door for permission to cross.

Stay vigil and stay the course my friends.

I called and talked to him Monday. He is an extremely nice and a very likable man. Very easy to talk to and down to earth.

It would not surprise me to learn that he and Harold were close friends .... at any rate, he certainly seems to hold a warm spot in his heart for the residents of The Historic Side.

So it sounds like we'd have to get Mr Brown's permission to use this route.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to say the same about Morris of course we know that's not the truth of the wall would not of been put up. If we fail with this sets a dangerous precedent that we can be walked upon of course we all have known that all along this is our chance. All of a sudden the Kool-Aid doesn't taste near as good. This This might open some peoples eyes

I misspell it on purpose just the way George Bush used to call Saddam saying something wrong
