I'm an avid Sox, Pats and Celtics fan and I'm looking forward to watching them play from TV. I also plan on attending a few Red Sox spring training games. This is something I've wanted to do since I was a young boy.

We'll be standing by in case we're needed!

If you are a Pats fan, plan on getting DirecTV or Comcast (I think) so you can watch them at home. With three NFL teams in Florida it is a rare day we get to see the Pats unless they are on Sunday/Monday night football or playing a Florida team. I am not sure about Comcast. Will be switching to DirecTV once our contract period expires with DishTV.

Just get the NFL redzone. That way you can watch almost every meaningful play of every game. Comes standard with most Direct and Dish packages and is included in the cheap sports pack on Comcast. The only way I watch NFL on Sunday now!

When we're down, hopefully full time in 2011, I'll be bringing down my home theater setup, and you are welcome to come over and watch Boston battle (beat) N.Y. in all sports, anytime. It's my pride and joy, as I've been an electronics fan for years.

Duey Evans was a great player and the best arm in right field since Clemente. Fred Lynn could have been something special if he didn't get hurt so often. Lynn was as ggod as it gets when he was healthy. What ever happened to Marty Barrett? They said he was the best baseball mind when he played and that he'd make agreat manager some day. He just disappeared. The Rocket - whether it be with the Bosox, Blue Jays or Yankees was an egotisicial maniac. Jim Rice was a feared hitter and I saw no problem with him making the Hall ofFame. So no, Larry. I don't hate the Red Sox or its fans. Just like to bust chops. I'll take you up on that offer of watching your home movie theater. Hope you have some films on Ted Williams. Have a Happy New Year.

Sadly, I do remember Bucky Dent, but two world series rings later have helped that memory heal!
