Welcome Cheryl Ann

My husband and I came for a three day lifestyle visit last October with the intentions of checking out TV as a possible snowbird rental situation. All I can tell you now is that we are placing our house on the market tomorrow and will move to The Villages permanently once our house has sold.

Why? Two words: THE PEOPLE.

Honestly the houses are beautiful and compared to California they are incredibly affordable, but a house means nothing if you don't have relationships. So far the people we have met in The Villages have welcomed us with open arms.

I agree with other posters you should come for a lifestyle visit and decide for yourself. Good Luck with your decision.

Hey Deb,

Nice to hear from you as I sit here with my morning coffee

What many of you do not know is that when my husband Joe and I were down in TV choosing our lot we watched the neighbors move into their new house. We decided to go over and be the first people to ring their doorbell. Deb and Ed opened the front door and welcomed us with open arms. During our conversation we discovered that not only were both couples from California, but we only lived two cities away from each other!!!

That is a brief synopsis of our story I'm sure Deb and Ed will fill the rest of you in on our story during your monthly Crispers meeting.

We will be sure to let you know when we will be back to TV. We are really anxious, still trying to figure out what type of housing suits us best. Want to downsize, but unsure if we want a 2 car garage or go for the 1 car and golf cart size. We do know it's not if we move to TV's, it's when we move!!! We loved it!!! Any words of wisdom???
