We paid the fee to close early (oh well, it was a mini-vacation) and were glad to be in early to get some stuff done. As far as the lighting, ask for an outlet above the cabinets and get rope lighting and run it along the edge of your cabinets. We did that at our other house and liked it a lot. Asking for more connections help when you are undecided as to what will go where. Easier beforehand.

I'm closing on a Sanibel Designer (Iris) eight weeks from today....56 days. As of last Monday (11/28) it was just a dirt lot with a few stakes, soooo.....I guess that means they could "getter done" in 75 days and still take a 2+week vacation right in the middle! Incredible!!

Welcome fellow Pennsylvanians!!! We are from Johnstown, east of Pittsburgh.
We are building in Sanibel, behind the Captiva Rec Center. We are building a Begonia with a stretch lanai. Our back is to a villa wall. We will be closing on 12/29 on Raven Croft Terrace. Hope to see you at the pool!

Lightbulb Home selections

Is it true that there are NO selections available on the Villas? Seems plugs and lighting would be important!

Good Luck with the closing on 12/29. What a great way to start the New Year! We are from Glen Mills, PA which is just south of Philadelphia. My wife graduated from IUP in Indiana, PA so I am very familiar with driving over the Johnstown mountain on Route 56 for 4 years. Hopefully, we will be moving down by early spring (still trying to sell our house).

You must be so excited. Good luck in selling your PA home.

We are definitely going with the Golf Cart Garage and a 2' stretch in the garage and living area. We are moving from a large house with a full basement so I am concerned about having enough storage space.

We will be adding extra outlets and the under counter lighting. I can handle the ceiling fan lights myself.

We selected our house in Bridgeport at Laurel Valley on September 15th. Construction began on October 7th and closing will be on December 28th. That 82 days. I believe construction takes a little longer for Premier homes and there may have been a slight delay because of the holidays. Good luck with your construction!
