Very interesting. Michiganders and I have swapped pictures of each others lots in 206. They are 5 lots away from ours and it's a race to see who builds first. Hotrod moved up where WVMtnBoy is building and it sounds like she's going to have quite a place.

As for the Flockers, I'm sorry to report that I got kicked out of the group before I ever got to one of their events. They said it was because I don't live on a street named after a BIRD It's their loss. I guess they were never told that I have a Corona delivery truck full of beer. WVMtnBoy and I are going to have one _____ of a party for the Fernandina 206er's and the Gilly's.

I got an email inviting me to a Flocker gathering. When the "Grand Poo Pah" found out I was building on Lafayette Street unit 206, I got another email telling me that they were sorry to tell me that the group was for Bird named streets. Can you say Flockers . . . . three times . . . . real fast ?? That's when I started reading up on what is involved in being a "Community Organizer". Well . . . . . we all know that won't work for me.

I went to the August meeting and I didn't get the sense it was just for Bird streets. I thought it was for all Fernandina people. I am going to look into this and will be posting. Hopefully I will get an answer by tomorrow morning.
