Default We've made it!

Dear all,
We have closed today and after a very busy day we will be sleeping in our brand new bed tonight in our brand new home.

Thank you to those of you that popped in to say hello and who have posted a 'congratulations' on the thread and a special thanks to The Mayor and Lady Mayoress who very kindly invited us over for an evening meal and a relaxing drink.

A long day but a very satisfying one, the professional way the 'builders walk through' and the subsequent closing meeting went is truly impressive.

Anyone is welcome to call in at any time and cold corona, wine or soft drink or English tea will be ready and waiting (as soon as we work out how to work the new coffee machine then there will be coffee as well).

Look forward to meeting old and new friends on Wednesday

kind regards
Andy, Wendy & Millie

Galloway, you won't have time to cut that much grass anyway! Congratulations.

Yankee Quilter, if you are like me, you will wonder if the selections you made will look nice. I know when we left, I second guessed myself, but it was wonderful in the end. I am sure your begonia will be lovely. Now a couple months to wait. Congratulations!

Andy, Wendy & Millie, I am sure today was a exhausting but thrilling day As well. Congratulations on your closing and enjoy your new home in good health.

See you soon!

Things are sure heating up down there! I need A-4's spreadsheet to keep track of everyone and everything!

Congratulations to all on your respective closings, moving, and designs!
We are so happy for you and look forward to meeting you all when we are down in early March!

Default Open Houses in Gilchrist today

Looks like the neighborhood will be hopping today. Eight open houses in 210. Should be a busy place.

How wonderful! Congratulations on your new home and new bed . We are 27 days away from our closing. We are packing and packing and packing. Glad to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Can't wait to get away from the cold weather! Looking forward to meeting our Gilly neighbors.

I was wondering the same thing myself when I saw that most of today's open houses were in our fair village...

Let us know how the traffic is! The sooner it all sells, the better, in my opinion.

Don't worry, Ms. Kitty. Your name is on the list with all of the other stragglers. We can't wait for everyone to be here. The party list will be long and distinguished!!!

Smile Tea and scones

We are thinking of hosting a "Christmas Tea" on Christmas afternoon. Don't know about the rest of you, but we don't have family here with us and would love to do tea, scones, etc around 3:30 that afternoon. Any interest? (Wendy and Andy, I don't promise to be an expert at scones, but willing to give it a try.)

Congratulation to all the closers and those new to the thread. Today Ann Marie and I had day one of design. It went really well and all that needs to be done tomorrow is picking out the granite slab and writing that big check.

It sounds like there is going to be a good size gathering tomorrow night and it will be really good to finally meet everyone.

A-4 where did all those buildings come from in 210? On the website it didn't look like there should be any houses.

So exciting to start over in a new place, right? We won't be there full time but maybe we will meet up on one of our visits. We are in Bokeelia Villas and haven't even seen our house completed yet.

congratulations and best of luck

Default Happenings

Gosh--I've been sick in bed with a horrible cold--darn Ohio weather and working in a hospital Have missed so much--congrats Andy and Wendy on your close and hope that your home is everything you wanted. We can't wait to see it. Our's was officially "turned over to us" as we were told by the electric company-and set up a time for our closing on the 8th of January. We nixed having movers try to move some of our items down as they couldn't guarentee delivery time when we were down there so we'll be frantically buying furniture--added stress Can't wait to meet everyone and see some sun. enjoy the hustle and bustle of the last few days before Christmas--more stress

the models on amherst are well worth seeing but you need an agent to do that. If you have none, I recommend Jim Minnelli, but it seems everyone loves the agent with whom they worked.

Sounds to me like this neighborhood is really starting to come together! It improves every time someone moves into their new home. It's like a living, breathing organism that's coming to life. This is so amazing!!!!

I hope we have a wonderful turn out at Evans Prairie tomorrow night. Come one, come all!!! See ya tomorrow night!

It stinks to be sick, especially during the Christmas season. Hope you feel better soon Twinspin! Your home is lovely and I know you won't recognize the neighborhood when you get back! Get well soon and get down here soon...the parties gettin' started!!!
