Andy and Wendy, congratulations on your closing tomorrow. How exciting for you! Wish we could be there too. Only a couple more weeks now.

Twinspin, your home looks beautiful. We know how hard it is not to be there during the build, thank goodness for great neighbors and pictures.

Teryl, so nice you now have Carol keeping an eye on things for you. I am sure in a couple days you will see a real difference from a plot of sand. The end is in sight. Congratulations!

Looking forward to meeting many of your on the 31st, many thanks to the Mayor and his Administrative Assistant for all their planning and organizing.:

We had a nice day in upstate NY today, sunny and 53 with green grass. However, they are predicting a White Christmas. As long as our takes off on the 31st, it can snow for Christmas. Our son is coming home from Denver Sunday, can't wait to see him!

Wishing everyone a wonderful happy, healthy and safe holiday season.:

Default Back in touch!

I swear I posted a thank you to all for the good wishes we got when we were down last week for the design appointments! Don' t see it ...so thanks you all! It was quite a week! I will wonder if the decisions are right until we walk in and fall in love without little Begonia! Closing is set for March 1 and we hope to be down the end of Jan. to check out progress. May have to be the weekend of TVQG quilt show!
We loved meeting all of you! How we wish we could be partying away NY Eve, but will have to wait until next year! Hoping Wed. nights at the Prairie become an often event!
Off to finally do the tree.
Thanks again!

Well, at any rate we're glad you're back. Don't forget that Gilly Gathering #5 is going to take place at Evans Prairie CC at 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 19th.

I call it a Gilly Gathering but it's really not...it's open to anyone on the thread if they happen to be in town!

Hope to see you there!!

My wife and I just got here this afternoon and looked at our new house in person for the first time. It is beautiful. And amazing they can build one so quickly.
When you stretch in every direction, have a full width driveway and add bushes, there isn't much grass to cut...... or distance to your next door neighbor. That was the only real surprise, even seeing some pictures during construction didn't bring it home. Closing is Friday morning.
Look forward to meeting a bunch of you Wed at Evan's Prarie CC.

Default This Is What I'm Talking About!!!

Janice and I just had a wonderful night with Junction29 who closed today!!! We knew with the closing and moving that they would be hungry and tired so we had them over for a late dinner, sangria and coffee. This kind of life is exactly what I had in mind when we decided to move to TV. Good food, good company and good drinks.

This is what Gilchrist is all about and I'm so happy with all of our neighbors. This place will only improve when everyone is here!!! By the way, I sure wish the rest of you would hurry up and get down here...

We have the gathering at Evans Prairie on Wednesday where I'm looking forward to meeting even more of our new friends. We're also looking forward to having more people over for drinks, dinner, desert and coffee in the very near future.

For those of you that still aren't here......we'll keep the light on for ya!
