Does anyone else know any 'after build' pool builders that they would recommend?

Thanks in advance
We just started construction And contracted with All Seasons......the same one Dave and Meredith went with. Teryl can give you the details and a blow by blow, daily progress report...... He has to do that for me also because I am now back in Ohio finishing up working........ Will be there permanently after 12/31!

Andy and Wendy,

So glad you're going to do the pool thing. We have absolutely no regrets. Besides, now that T & T are in the midst of construction, it was only a matter of time before you realized you were nearly the only one on our side of Amherst without one. Pressure's on. Besides, we need to have a "Progressive Pool Party" along our side of the street and would hate to find ourselves standing in your backyard with no pool to enjoy.

MamaDerby is correct. We used All Seasons Pools. You got to see most of the construction and finished work. We felt that we got a lot for the money spent. We also called T & D and expect that their price for something comparable would have been about 10 - 15% higher. They also do a great job, but we ecided not to use them because it would have meant a three or four month delay in getting started (and finished). We would have hated NOT having the pool this summer, for sure.

Thought of you when we played Palmer Legends this evening. You're missing some of the best golfing options right now. We LOVE it and miss having you here to play with. Give Millie a little pat for us and Hurry Home.

As you know from an earlier post, we already have a pool;

1st-pool-jpg

But we thought that with all the pool parties on the go we ought to have something bigger;

2nd-pool-jpg

And as you can see with a construction job of this size, we need to pick the right pool builders to do it

We are also thinking of asking Dave and Bill to do the supervising on 12 hour shifts, to ensure the construction goes smoothly and to minimise disruption for our neighbours, otherwise the Corona 'sorry' cost will be sky high

p.s. Do you have phone and email contact details for your guys?

Default Not me and Millie

Just in case anyone thinks our whole family is crazy, me and HRH Millie had nothing to do with the last post - we are innocent

Good job there are two sensible people in the family, me and HRH Millie are having a 'proper' pool

As for A-4's previous post about bringing my "A" game to twilight golf last night....I left it at home. The results were one or two good drives, a few good fairway shots and the rest was complete rubbish.

For some reason, my play got better around the 3rd tee on Destin when we ran into the Depudie Mayor and his beautiful bride! They were gracious enough to have a cooler of very cold beer which served to revive my skills for about 1 1/2 additional holes. Pictures are attached.

What a great neighborhood we have. As you can see from previous posts, we (A-4, The Old Bishop, Fred Flintstone & myself) weren't sure what to expect when we got to DM BS's (Depudie Mayor Bunny Slippers) home but we were not disappointed. The course ambassador evidently like our foursome and I was forced to put my golf glove over the Corona bottle to keep from being thrown off the course! The hospitality of DM BS and his beautiful bride will not go unrewarded.

As some of you might know, our weekly foursome has instituted the "Birdie Club" that I think I've previously described. We hadn't had any $1 collections for a birdie (very unlikely that we will ever have one from me) but we did have two on Bonifay last evening. The venerable Old Bishop had a birdie on Destin and our ever loving A-4 had a birdie on Pensacola both of which cost the other three players $1 each. After the round we adjourned to the Bonifay Clubhouse for some much needed victuals & cold refreshment. A-4 is such a gracious winner. Fred & I had to endure a golf ball rolling down the bar in our direction followed by the comment "Anyone want to see my birdie ball?"

Anyway, we had a great time and I will probably play with those two again even if I have to take out a second mortgage to pay my golf debts!!!

Ahhhh....it appears that our royal couple has succumbed to the pressure of the pool group and decided to put in a proper outdoor, recreational, bathing facility. I guess it was inevitable... Looks like A-4 & his Speedo will have another venue available for a "show"!!!

Default ***official notice***

In honor of the birth of HRH The Prince of Cambridge and in order to show the support of the Colonials to our "royal couple", the Office of the Mayor has decided to initiate a "Name the Royal Baby Contest". Sir John of Gilchrist has generously offered to put up $10 prize award to the winner.

I originally tried to get Sir John to have NAPIT fund an all expense paid trip to London and an entry ticket for the baby's christening but he deferred since he and the Fair Lady are now officially retired from the company and no longer have control of the financial purse strings!

The contest is simple. I have started a spreadsheet with my entry and those of Sir John & Lady Wendy. Anyone else who desires to enter need only send me a PM with their suggestion which will be entered into the contest. The winner will be judged by Depudie Mayor BS and determined by who comes closest to the name chosen by the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge when that time arrives!

Sir John will (hopefully) be forthcoming with the $10 when he and the Fair Lady return to their manor on Amherst Way in September.

Happy Voting or, as we say in WV...."Vote once, vote often"

Okay, you're entered but I think you have a much better chance of collecting as a member of the "Birdie Club" than you have of collecting $10 from Sir John!!!
