DON'T WANT TO SCARE YOU BUT WHEN WE CAME FOR OUR FIRST VISIT WE WERE EQUALLY IMPRESSED. HOWEVER, ONLY AFTER FINDING THIS SITE DID I BECAME SO MUCH MORE INFORMED AS TO TRUE COSTS INVOLVED IN LIVING THERE, now have become .Not so much because of the cost but because of the fact TV were not up front about it. Our agent kind of skimmed over the many costs involved, such as Bond amounts being underestimated, operation/maintance bill, taxes amounts, etc. Hope this was not your experience. Happy I came across this site, have received soooo much knowledge from the people living in TV. I thank them ALL.

old moe - Always best to check the info out, whether it's in TV, back home, or elsewhere. I don't feel the sales folks intentionally give out incorrect information. If you feel they do, it's probably best to take your concern to management in the sales group. The sales force is more focused on the house (and the sale) rather than supplying a prospective buyer with all the 'nitty gritty' about things related to the house and the purchase transaction.

Again, it's always best to do what you're doing - checking things out for yourself!!

Yes, now it turns out that the elevation we picked will not fit on the lot we picked -- found out just in time! Now we will be on Vanilla Leaf Way instead if Silk Tree Terrace and it will cost us $7000 more --but we are still looking forward to becoming frogs. We may just have to croak sooner if our money runs out!

Helen:

I just love it when someone retains there sense of humor when feeling stress.

I know I am hysterical when really under a lot of stress or at least that is what I'm told by relatives.

Best wishes that everything goes smoothly and you can start living the dream.

Helen. Sorry for your change of plans and the stress and decidedly sorry about the money.

You are someone that I am so looking forward to meeting, and I know many of us who post on here feel the same.

Getting the house you want, even if it means switching lots is worth it, we did the same thing too. Now that we are in, I am SO glad we did.

Thinking about you and wishing you all good things.

Gracie.
