My family has been going there for ten years and always stays at the Holiday Inn. Relaxing. Walking distance to everything needed. Beautiful beach.

UGH 😩😩😩

Way to answer the question that you want instead of what they asked! Why do so many people do that?

Clearwater Beach is amazing! You’ll love it. I’ve only gone for day trips so I can’t recommend a hotel though.

If you’ve never been, I highly recommend going. You’ll have a great time.

Coldwater is an amazing beach area. I found it too crowded for my liking, but if you go I recommend Frenchys restaurant on the beach. You can get a great view of the beach and a fun casual atmosphere. I personally hung out a little further south at the Indian Shore beaches. Nice and quiet, which is more my beat.

Right now most hotels are $300 or more , to save some money you may consider staying 30 minutes east of the bridge in a regular hotel which of course you about 100 to 150. The Holiday inn on the beach as well as the Wyndham Grand will be around 300 or $350 and if the beach is not your main concern they're nice but not worth it for one night

Lived in the Clearwater area for 28 years. Ruth Eckhardt is a great venue, no bad sears and well run. There are many places to stay. On the beach is pricey away from the beach is better. Oldsmar has a couple of the bigger chain hotels and is only a few miles from Ruth Eckhard. Enjoy

Okay now that you have clarified that you want to be near the Eckerd Hall, please note that it is 20-50 minutes east of the actual Beach area. I say that because the last overpass to the beach can be backed up for 30 minutes day or night. If your main concern is getting to the hall on time it's going to take you approximately 2 hours and there are a dozen hotels right near the hall from 90 to $150 your choice. You may want to consider getting a room for one night right next to the hall has the traffic can be crazy from one day to the next if you were just decide to stay at the beach instead to go to the hall. Then you may want to take one two or three days at the beach and spend the money as many have said the Holiday inn is actually very very nice right in the center of things the Wyndham Grand is wonderful for $350-400 right now because it's prime season. If however you will like me and like quirky little places you should zoom in on Google maps and find any of a dozen very small motel hotels that would be $100 cheaper and three blocks from the beach. There is also several all suite hotels off the beach. Is also one hotel which I refuse to mention as it is the worst dump in the world but always comes up cheapest right opposite the beach right next to the wyndham Grand. Don't be suckered by their price. It's really a roach motel. Remember the highway going to Clearwater Beach sometimes has at least 10 speed traps. And even when you think you get there the last two miles could take you half an hour on the inlet overpass. Enjoy yourself and arguably is the best beach in the Continental USA. If you want to take a vacation other than going to the hall you may want to go half an hour south of Clearwater there are many other beautiful beaches with small hotels on the way

If you're going to Ruth Eckerd Hall, best place to stay is Safety Harbor Spa a few miles from Concert hall and Safety Harbor is a lovely quaint town with nice shops and good restaurants. Plus you get to enjoy the spa with very affordable rates. Enjoy!

Marriott has 4 or 5 hotels on the beach area reasonably priced. Good restaurants are Beach Comber, Frency’s, and Clearsky.

Safety Harbor spa and downtown Safety Harbor. About mile up the road Phillippe Park on the bay, a small beach, bike trails, walking. Ruth Eckard hall just remodeled. It's just off of McMullen Booth Rd. Lived there 8 years.

Clearwater Beach is touristy. Try Tarpon Springs. Laid back, great Greek food (like Hella's) and a wonderful island beach at Howard Park Beach at the end of the causeway. Just not a lot of nice hotels other than Innsbrook further south. Look at AirB&B instead in Tarpon Springs. Enjoy Florida. We always ask for "resident hotel rates".

Yes, it IS nice. But, make sure there is no red tide there. It can hurt your lungs and in a long haul way.

Red Tide levels are very high in the Clearwater Beach area right now. If you have any breathing issues, best to stay away.

There is so much more art in St Pete. Lots of small theaters, museums and art galleries. There is only about 15 miles between Clearwater and St Pete. Clearwater is truly a beach town, St Pete is different. My opinion
