I'm used to it. In Boston we have a state road 128 one section of the northbound of which is also a section of 95 south. Then a section of 95 is also the Southeast Express Way which is also route 3 and 93.
North of the city, if you're on 95 north and want to go north on 93, you'd have to go south on rte 128

Default Road names

It's bad enough to have road names like 44/44a, why in Sumter County do we have both State 44/44a and County 44/44a?

Ooooh, I have goosebumps! I'd love to meander down Serenity Way and make a right onto Street of Dreams. If only...

If they allow us to name them, how about F.R.O.G. Blvd., Old Geezer Way, Loopy Circle, Carbon Trace.....
How many more can you come up with?

A product of Marion Co mandating a quadrant (SE) and number (134the St.) and TV wanting a name (Circle Path Way)

Mine is similarly convoluted, complete with a 5 digit street number!!

Or you could live in Hawaii where hiway and street names look like this:

Kalanianaʻole
Pūʻāinakō
Kamehameha

You should hear my Garmin try to pronounce the street names. I laugh so hard I can hardly drive.

You'd laugh at me trying to pronounce them also, but I'd love to live there and try!

Thanks to all who have provided some clarity to the road numbers here and other bits of info. Much appreciated!

Now, the other road name question I have ...why do you suppose the developers of The Villages named these "loop" roads that cross another street two times? And run parrallel to themselves? I don't know if it is prevelent all over The Villages, but south of 466A, it sure is. Fieldstone Path, Yearling Way, Mayflower Loop.... you get the point.
